Bonegilla Migrant Experience is located at 132 Bonegilla Rd, Bonegilla, which is 12km from Wodonga in North East Victoria.

Travelling from Wodonga

  • At the main roundabout near the water tower, take the Thomas Mitchell Drive exit to the east.
  • Continue on Thomas Mitchell Drive, this becomes Anzac Parade (at the Chapple St roundabout).
  • Continue on Anzac Parade passing through Bandiana. Anzac Parade becomes the Murray Valley Hwy (B400).
  • Continue on the Murray Valley Hwy until you reach Bonegilla.
  • Turn left at the intersection signposted Bonegilla Rd.
  • Turn right into Bonegilla Migrant Experience where signposted.

From Albury

  •  From Dean St, Albury, travel east along Dean St to reach the intersection of the Riverina Hwy.
  •  At the traffic lights, turn left.
  •  Follow the Riverina Hwy to Borella Rd. At the traffic lights turn right.
  •  Continue on Borella Rd which becomes the Riverina Hwy (B58).
  •  Continue on the Riverina Hwy until you reach Lake Hume.
  •  Turn right on to the Hume Weir Rd.
  •  Continue on the Hume Weir Rd passing over Heywood Bridge.
  •  This becomes Bonegilla Rd.
  •  Continue on Bonegilla Rd.
  •  Turn left into Bonegilla Migrant Experience where signposted.

 

By air

 

Wodonga is serviced by a regional airport that is located in Albury.

Regional Express and Qantaslink operate regular services from Melbourne and Sydney with connections to other capital cities around Australia.

Virgin Blue operates services to Sydney only.

Wodonga is on the major railway link between Melbourne and Sydney, providing day and night express services between the two capital cities. Travel times are approximately the same as driving by road. Countrylink and V/Line link Wodonga to Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra seven days a week with up to seven services a day.
