Object Donations

We welcome donation offers from members of the public who have items related to Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre for possible inclusion in the Bonegilla Collection.

Wodonga Council and Bonegilla Migrant Experience work in partnership with AlburyCity and Albury LibraryMuseum to document and preserve the history of Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre.

While Bonegilla Migrant Experience presents Block 19 as a site open to the public for historical reflection and education, Albury LibraryMuseum manages the Bonegilla Collection and coordinates related archival material. This collection includes objects, photographs, documents and other significant items related to the history of the site.

Donation offers

To offer an object for inclusion in the Bonegilla Collection, or for more information about object donations, please contact Albury LibraryMuseum

Items must have a clear connection to Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre. All offers are assessed on a case-by-case basis before being accepted into the Bonegilla Collection. There is no guarantee of acceptance.
