Important update | Inclement weather alternative

In the event of inclement weather, our Music in the Open-air with Vardos concert will move indoors — to a space every bit as special. The performance will take place inside the historic Tudor Hall, located onsite at Bonegilla Migrant Experience.

Set within one of the few original buildings still standing on Block 19, Tudor Hall holds a deep and remarkable history. It played an important role in the everyday lives of migrant residents, providing a communal space for entertainment and social connection — including concerts, dances, cinema screenings and celebrations.

For this event, Tudor Hall will be transformed into a cabaret-style venue, with seating and tables arranged to create an intimate and atmospheric concert experience.

Whether under open skies or within the walls of Tudor Hall, you’ll enjoy an afternoon of vibrant folk and Romani music with the dynamic trio Vardos. Driven by Alana’s wild violin, chased by accordion and double bass, Vardos brings to life the spirited sounds learned directly from Roma musicians during their travels through Eastern Europe.
