Exclusive in-depth Bonegilla Migrant Camp tour with lunch

06

Nov

Take part in a rare opportunity to explore the full extent of the original Bonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre with an experienced guide.

Discover powerful migrant stories and hidden corners of what was the largest and longest-operating migrant reception centre in the post-war era.

During this in-depth four-hour tour, our expert guide will take you on a fascinating journey uncovering the camp’s history and shedding light on the diverse experiences of those who once called it home.

Visit Latchford Barracks to see the last remaining original building and footings on this site, along with past block locations that are usually closed to the public.

Gather for a catered lunch at Bonegilla Migrant Experience and enjoy the chance to share stories, memories and insights with fellow tour attendees.

The experience concludes with a guided tour of Block 19, now a national heritage-listed site, where you'll explore original camp buildings, hear shared migrant stories and gain a deeper understanding of daily life at the camp.
