Education Program

A class visit to the Bonegilla Migrant Experience will teach students about the significance of the site and the role it played in creating multicultural Australia. It will also foster conversation on modern day immigration.

This is an important time in Australian history for students to explore the themes of immigration, cultural diversity and Australian identity more widely.

We offer a range of teaching resources, aligned to the national curriculum, which allow for both pre-visit and post-visit learning.
